month since that date, I can honestly see at least five,

Wow, thank you very much for the birthday cake! I was totally
surprised and touched by your thoughtful gift. My morale at the
start of the day was rather low, another year passing and
turning forty had caused me to reflect on those people in my
life who are now gone. My mother was always the one to make the
fancy birthday cake for me. I lost her when I was 30. I was
missing her and her cake. S and I enjoyed the dessert that
evening and used the opportunity to invite close friends to
share. Our friends were most impressed that my surgeon and his
staff would remember my birthday and give me a cake ... possibly
even more impressed with that considerate gesture than the
excellent results from the surgery itself!
I must say that I thoroughly appreciated and even enjoyed this
whole medical adventure. From the initial consultation, the
follow up questions, additional consultations, the surgery, and
all the follow up calls and visits. The whole process was well
orchestrated, all of my questions were answered, and all of my
expectations were met. The recovery process was exciting and
amazing for me, as I have never had any major surgery or visible
injuries before. We are very pleased with the results, even
better than we expected. I am astounded at the work you perform
and the expert execution of that work.
Dr. Rabson, you have an amazing staff. They show genuine warmth,
concern, enthusiasm, and even seemed excited for me. Every visit
to your office was comfortable and I always felt more like a
friend than a patient. I have found in my business that people
expect to get what they pay for; it is the little extra things
that they appreciate and the way they are treated that makes an
impression. Indifference will lose a customer faster than a
poorly executed repair. You obviously have a decisive control
and understanding of that philosophy.
By the way, I am a metalogical perfectionist and not easily
impressed. I'm impressed to be so impressed.
