Meet Joseph A. Rabson, M.D.

Over the past 25 years, Joseph A. Rabson, M.D. has been providing patients with the highest quality plastic surgery.  He has a commitment to achieving natural-looking results appropriate for each unique individual and a strong dedication to patient safety.  This board-certified plastic surgeon helps individuals from Plymouth Meeting, King of Prussia, Montgomery County, Suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and surrounding states celebrate their inner beauty by improving their outer appearance. 

Dr Rabson offers a wide range of procedures including facelift surgery, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and reduction, and abdominoplasty, as well as non-surgical skin care treatments.

Early in his medical career, Dr. Rabson performed research at the Wistar Institute, a National Cancer Institute Cancer Center and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia of the University of Pennsylvania.  After his education at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in New York, he completed his general surgery residency at the New York Hospital of Cornell University.

Following general surgery residency, he did another year of research at the University of Pittsburgh where he helped advance the science of skin flaps as well as lymph node transplantation. This helped provide him with experience in performing sentinel node biopsies for today’s surgical treatment of malignant melanoma. Dr. Rabson completed three years at the University of Pittsburgh where as a senior resident he won several national first place awards.

Dr. Rabson is now the medical director and founder of Advanced Cosmetic Surgery in Plymouth Meeting, and he is chief of plastic surgery at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.  He is also one of the founders of the Blue Bell Surgery Center and is on staff at Mercy Suburban Hospital.  He is respected as one of the most qualified plastic surgeons in the area. Dr. Rabson is the Division Chief of Plastic Surgery at EMCM.
